The original kitchen had lots of problems. The cabinets weren’t just outdated, they were collapsing and broken. There wasn’t much space for anything and there was no room for modern appliances to fit properly.

The drop ceiling was made with mismatched panels and the walls had been wallpapered 3 times over.

The cabinets behind the refrigerator was not the correct size and wasn’t accessible by the homeowner.

To give the room a more spacious feel, we removed the drop ceiling to find almost a foot more of space.

After gutting the old cabinets, we found the floor and subfloor were sinking in due to the extreme water damage.

We replaced the wood under the cabinets from the water damage and removed all of the wallpaper and ceiling panels, replaced with drywall and a fresh coat of paint.

We were able to make this kitchen beautiful! The old damaged cabinets were replaced with brand new sturdy and soft-close cream shaker cabinets with modern square door pulls and laminate countertops. To make the kitchen more functional, we added more countertop space and changed the layout to fit modern appliances with a brand new sink. We removed the wallpaper and put new drywall in with a sleek new paint job. Removing the drop ceiling gave another foot of height to the space, and we added new LED recess lighting. And we pulled out the old rubber floor and replaced it with new LVT with a tile-look to it.
